Moooney Matters
You’re special ! Not everyone
is member of the Blue Herd yet. Since we have some
open stalls we thought you would like the chance to
fill them with family and friends. Our ladies prefer
grain rewards but, for each new member you send us,
we will send you a $10.00 reward. Let us introduce
you to - “Lasso a Stray”.
Here’s
how “Lasso a Stray” works. A Stray is
anyone you know who is not currently a member of bluemoo.net.
All you have to do is get this udderly lost straggler
into the Blue Herd is tell them how great the internet
service is and how to sign-up. Your “Stray”
should mention your name when they sign-up for service.
Here is the “Moooney Matters”.
If you are a current bluemoo.net customer in good
standing, between June 1, 2003 to August 31, 2003,
there is no limit to the number of Strays you can
round-up for the Blue Herd. If they stay with bluemoo.net
for at least 3 months and their account is in good
standing, you will receive GREEN from the BLUE. You
don’t have to do anything else. We’ll
keep track of the number of Strays that mention your
name at the time of their joining the HERD and send
YOU the GREEN.
Now for the “Molasses in the Oats”.
For each “Stray” we will enter you into
a drawing for a live young Heifer (or the cash equivalent
of $300.00). A name will be drawn on September 10,
2003 and the lucky “roper” will be contacted
to make a decision as to their prize choice and arrangement
for pick-up.
Don’t be caught grazing this
summer during the Stampede for the Mooola. Mount-up
and keep a sharp eye-out for stragglers and “Lasso
a Stray”.
THE FINE PRINT
We’re All
Ears
We at the Herd were chewing our cud
the other day and thinking. What mooooves our customers
to call and join the Herd ? So we decided to ask.
We would be interested in where you first heard about
the Herd; where you hear about us now and places you
don’t hear about us but wish you did.
We
would also like to hear what you like the best about
your present service and what you would like to see
in the future. We do not need your name just your
opinions.
We invite you to speak to a member
of the Blue Herd with a call to 1-866-THE-HERD or,
if you prefer, go online to www.bluemoo.net/feedback.
Thank you for helping us plow this
ground. We know you will mooove us with your thoughts
and ideas about your experiences with our Blue Ribbon
Service.
Do you have Designs
on our Host ?
Did you know that Bluemoo.net does web
site design and hosting? Bluemoo specializes in sites
for small and medium size businesses and personal
web sites. Our design folks bring the same friendly
service to web design that you have come to expect
from us. If you have ever thought of having your own
web site, give us a call at 1-866-THE-HERD and choose
option 4 for the web design and hosting team.
Of course if you already have a web
site, we can help you move to our barnyard. Why host
in an unfamiliar pasture with folks you don’t
know when you can have your web site taken care of
by your neighbors? We can help you maintain what you
already have or work with you for a completely new
look.
Our web hosting packages (see samples below) are intended
to be affordable and provide the features that make
a web site useful. For example, most packages come
with a statistic function where you can see who your
visitors are and what part of your site they are using.
This can help you plan sales, target customers and
identify preferences.
Like the residents of our barnyard,
our web design and hosting services come in all sizes
and shapes. We will be happy to build a package that
meets your personalized needs. Whether experienced
in the web arts or a first time surfer, we will walk
through the whole process with you step by step --
from proposal to finished product. Call our web specialists
at 1-866-843-4373,option 4 or visit us on the web
at www.bluemoo.net

Just Bluezing Around!
How cool is blue? Some blue things are
not even blue, are they cool? So I bluezed around
bluemoo.net for enlightenment and education.I investigated
the Web White and Blue web site. I thought 'This will
be cool!' Nope, not cool and not about blue. I went
to the The Blue Book of Grammar and Punctuation, educational
yes, cool no. I dawdled around the Welcome to the
Blue Ridge Parkway site, interesting and cool if you
plan to travel to Appalachia, which I am not, therefore,
not cool.
Then
I checked out the Toronto Blue Jays, Columbus Blue
Jackets. Blue Rodeo.com (which didn't use the color
blue) Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle
Club, Inc and Navy.com : Explore the Navy: Blue Angels.
OK enough already! Interesting but not cool.
I clicked on Blue chips. Surprise,
they are not what blue cows make in their pasture.
Eventually I found the web site for the Adirondack
Museum in Blue Mountain Lake New York. They are having
a special art exhibit for 2003 called Summering in
the Adirondacks: The Artists' Views will include images
and artifacts of summer pastimes --boating, fishing,
camping; places to go and places to stay -- Ausable
Chasm, High Falls Gorge, the High peaks, hotels, lakes,
and beautiful views including masterworks from the
museum's renowned painting collection. Pretty cool
at Blue Mountain Lake.
Around the world we go to The African
Blue Gallery which is based in the heart of rural
South Africa and sources original African art directly
from the wealth of talented artists in the area. Score
this pretty cool at the Blue Gallery if I could drive
to Africa.
Then I changed the scope a little and
visited Black & Blue Sports. This site talked
about separated shoulders, broken ribs and a commitment
to pushing ones limits through sports and pain. This
was cool until I realized that I'm on the other side
of 50. Not cool!
Then I made a real find: A blue word
is a link. Clicking on a link enables you to move
from one piece of information to a related item no
matter where on the Internet the information may be
stored. Links can move you to a point within the Web
page you are currently reading, to a new Web page,
or a particular point within a new Web page. Typically,
a link turns purple once you've clicked on it. This
helps you keep a record of all the links you've visited.
I thought blue words were *#^@% type of words. Not
cool at all!
So what is the ultimate cool
blue? Hey, it has to be bluemoo.net, our logo is a
blue cow, our home page is in blue and we bluez around.
Add to that our blue ribbon Internet service and we
are the king cool of blue. Click on bluemoo.net or
call our blue telephone number (OK,OK,OK too far),
1 800 THE HERD for the max in blue cool.
Have you “Herd”?
Bluemoo does Streaming!
Have you ever driven through
Boston, listening to the "River 92.5FM"
on the radio and saying, "I wish we had that
radio station back home ?" What if you move away
from Middlebury or St. Albans ? Would you wish that
you could bring "Alice 103.3FM & 93.7FM"
with you? How about going away to college in the Midwest
and wanting to show all your new friends in the dorm
how great Montpelier’s "Point 104.7FM"
is ? Or you live elsewhere but would love to hear
Southern Champlain Valley local news from WIPS “The
Bridge” at AM1250 ?
Now you can. Bluemoo is happy to announce
that we are streaming these radio stations live, 24
hours a day - 7 days a week. So whether you are vacationing
in Florida or back at the office, you can enjoy the
area's best radio stations live on the Internet. Just
go to www.bluemoo.net
and click on Media Streaming to listen to these great
stations (and more as they come online).
Media streaming is a new service that
Bluemoo Internet can provide its customers. Whether
you are an already established radio station, like
the ones mentioned above, or a music fanatic that
wants to create their own online radio experience,
we can help you. Give us a call at 1(866)THE-HERD
and choose option 4 for web design/hosting services.
The ladies of the Blue Herd are proud
to provide audio streaming ~~ just one more way that
bluemoo.net continues to be a Blue Ribbon service
provider.
